Planning- Other Info

 The location of our movie takes place in an office setting. I asked my partner Jada if she was able to ask her dad to use his office. Due to coronavirus his office was shut down. We had to reconsider our location and eventually we found a plan. We decided to go my mother's office because they are open during this time. With that being said we have to ensure that the proper covid precautions are being taken. In this movie there will be 2 main actors. My partner Jada and I are starring in this movie and we plan on portraying our roles to the best of of ability. However, we will be using back ground actors in order to make the movie more realistic. If needed we will be including a close friend of ours to work with us. Tiana worked with us in a previous project for AICE Media and it was a great experience working with her. Below is full list of each individual role.
  • Filming: The filming will be done by Jada and I. In the scenes where we are both needed I'll have Tiana film for us. 
  • Editing: The editing work will be split between Jada and I using the "iMovie" for most of it.

Health and safety is vital for every and any film production that goes on. To ensure safety regarding covid we will be wearing masks and keeping a 6 feet distance from each other while filming in the office. While filming in outside there's no need to wear mask since its an open environment. However we will do our best to socially distance. 

Filming will take place over the course of 3 weeks. Below is the schedule for our film production. 

  • On March 11, 2021 we will be recording the scenes that take place in the office setting. 
  • On March 13, 2021 we will be recording the scenes that take place at the park for the "Workplace Olympics". 
Filming will only take two days because we only have two settings for our movie.

Production

 Our team has not agreed on the exact days we plan to film but we have decided on a time period to film. Since we all have school going on and our lives to attend to after, it is hard to choose a day. We are sorting our schedules to come up with a good day to film. Also, we would need to film on a day with favorable weather because half of our filming will be taking place outside. As for location, we have a park set to film at but since we haven't picked a filming day. We also have an office building we are supposed to film at , however I am not 100% sure about the stability. We found a park that has a playground, a field, and other areas need to film. We decided to use iMovie, an editing app made by Apple, to edit our film. I am very experienced with using this app, it makes editing an easier job. Editing for my Crocs Commercial

 The editing process of my commercial was not too difficult. The total time it took to edit was about 30 minutes. I used iMovie to edit on my laptop and I begun my importing my footage onto my laptop. I organized the clips in the order I wanted the commercial to flow. I did not use all the clips I wanted to make sure I remained in the time limit. I watched all the footage back as I was editing to find the perfect clips to use for each part. For the parts of the commercial I did not want to use I cut the clip and merged the other pieces together. During the editing process I noticed that the time limit wasn't going over too much and I was on the right track. I wanted to add a little bit of calming music to the background of my video. In many Croc commercials there is a calm background music and I wanted to add that element to my commercial.
