Production

We previously filmed on April 8th for the office portion of our movie.  We were supposed to film two days prior to that but there were circumstances in play that did not permit us to film. We filmed the office scenes for our opening sequence that day. My partner and I are going to film the park scene for our movie on Wednesday at Hampton Pines Park. That park is okay for the most part and I am sure we can make it work. I will be editing the movie as soon as we get all the clips for the movie. I am very excited for this other day of filming I am sure we will get great footage and have a lot of fun. As for the props I do not think we will be buying anything but we might have to bring supplies from home. We might have to cut out many scenes because it may exceed our time limit. A lot of the clips we captured the other day for filming is about enough to fulfil the time span but we need to include the rest of our scenes to complete the plot of the movie. Hopefully I can cut the time down enough. We might have to make minor changes to our movie to help it flow better but we will cross that bridge when we get to it. Finding music to fit our movie might be kind of difficult. The editing process may take a while but I am sure we can get through it. To recap the first day of filming was very productive. The first day of filming was also very fun. We hope that we can experience a successful day of filming day two just like we did for day one. We definitely felt like we prepared for the challenges that came along with filming today. Now the next step of this process is to film day two and editing. Overall I am very excited to finish.

Editing for my Crocs Commercial

 The editing process of my commercial was not too difficult. The total time it took to edit was about 30 minutes. I used iMovie to edit on my laptop and I begun my importing my footage onto my laptop. I organized the clips in the order I wanted the commercial to flow. I did not use all the clips I wanted to make sure I remained in the time limit. I watched all the footage back as I was editing to find the perfect clips to use for each part. For the parts of the commercial I did not want to use I cut the clip and merged the other pieces together. During the editing process I noticed that the time limit wasn't going over too much and I was on the right track. I wanted to add a little bit of calming music to the background of my video. In many Croc commercials there is a calm background music and I wanted to add that element to my commercial. Planning Title Blog

  The title of a film is very essential for various reasons.  After research  on various websites about titles and title sequences we were able to begin the process of deciding on a name. We kept in mind the information absorbed from those websites and integrated  that information into our final decision. The title of a film sets the mood for the film, gives overview, and allows the audience to create assumptions for the content.  We spent some time thinking about a movie tile that fits the content of our film. As of right now the title for our film is "The Workplace". We decided this title for our film based on a comedy series named "The Office". The comedy style in our film is very similar of "The Office". As stated before in previous blogs the movie is inspired from that show. We didn't want to steal the name of the show but to have some sort of resemblance. Naming the film with a synonym of office was the best decision. It allows us to use the same...

Filming for my Crocs Commercial

     On Sunday November 1st I filmed my Crocs commercial. The person I originally wanted to film with was unable to come over and film so I just filmed with my mom instead.  During this process I directed the filming. I decided the positions my mother and I would stand in, and the dialogue we would use in the commercial. Before filming I cleared the yard of any signs that would get in the way of my video. I also played around with locations for the camera to sit to record. I gathered the football and soccer ball, the shoe box and crocs, and set up the camera in the front yard. I decided to film in the front yard of my house because I wanted to use the grass to play with the balls. This was the first option out of the two options I had for filming stated in my planning.
