The titles that are displayed during the opening sequences are the actors, producers, and directors. The other titles was made up of other production members and of course the title of the film.

 - What images are prioritized in the opening sequence?

The images that are prioritized in the opening sequence are animations of the actors and some animals that play a role within the plot. The images were in motion but animated. 

 - What connotations do these images carry?
The images carry a humorous and positive connotation. The images consist of situations that happen within the film. If the audience watched the prequel of this movie then they would understand that there are two children who give trouble to the lead actor. With that being said the images were full of people and animals giving the main actor trouble. Seeing the main actor in distress helps with the humorous connotation. 

- How does the film establish a feeling of the genre from the outset?
The film establishes a feeling of comedy from the outset by providing unfortunate events to happen to the main character in the title sequence. These unfortunate events allowed the comedic feeling to fulfill the audience. The film also creates that feeling by portraying the sequence in the animation world rather than live action like the rest of the film. 

- What strategies are used to ensure the film appeals to its target audience?
There were many strategies that were used but the most effective was the animation. Although the whole film is not animated this allowed the audience to know that this is a film for families with or without children. 

- How has technology been used effectively? You want to consider camera angles, transitions and editing techniques
Technology was used effectively when creating the title sequence. In this section of the film there had to be a lot of workers because its takes a lot to create animation characters. They did a great job with the edits and creativity. There were no camera angles but there were editing and transitions such as visual effects, slow motion, and many others.

Editing for my Crocs Commercial

 The editing process of my commercial was not too difficult. The total time it took to edit was about 30 minutes. I used iMovie to edit on my laptop and I begun my importing my footage onto my laptop. I organized the clips in the order I wanted the commercial to flow. I did not use all the clips I wanted to make sure I remained in the time limit. I watched all the footage back as I was editing to find the perfect clips to use for each part. For the parts of the commercial I did not want to use I cut the clip and merged the other pieces together. During the editing process I noticed that the time limit wasn't going over too much and I was on the right track. I wanted to add a little bit of calming music to the background of my video. In many Croc commercials there is a calm background music and I wanted to add that element to my commercial.   The title of a film is very essential for various reasons.  After research  on various websites about titles and title sequences we were able to begin the process of deciding on a name. We kept in mind the information absorbed from those websites and integrated  that information into our final decision. The title of a film sets the mood for the film, gives overview, and allows the audience to create assumptions for the content.  We spent some time thinking about a movie tile that fits the content of our film. As of right now the title for our film is "The Workplace". We decided this title for our film based on a comedy series named "The Office". The comedy style in our film is very similar of "The Office". As stated before in previous blogs the movie is inspired from that show. Filming for my Crocs Commercial

     On Sunday November 1st I filmed my Crocs commercial. The person I originally wanted to film with was unable to come over and film so I just filmed with my mom instead.  During this process I directed the filming. I decided the positions my mother and I would stand in, and the dialogue we would use in the commercial. Before filming I cleared the yard of any signs that would get in the way of my video. I also played around with locations for the camera to sit to record. I gathered the football and soccer ball, the shoe box and crocs, and set up the camera in the front yard. I decided to film in the front yard of my house because I wanted to use the grass to play with the balls. This was the first option out of the two options I had for filming stated in my planning.
