Filming Blog for Music Video

For our filming blog we woke up super early and we met at Mickel park on Friday the 27th. By early mean around 6:30 so we could get there by 8am. This early arrangement was mostly because we had to film around one of our teammates work schedules. When we got to the park though they weren't open yet, probably because of Black Friday. We waited an hour before eventually coming to the conclusion that the park wasn't going to open anytime soon. With that in mind we quickly decided to find a park close by that would be open even with the crazy Black Friday schedules. We knew we wanted one with a playground and besides that we weren't picky, so finding on was easy. Mills Pond park was only 4 minutes away and ended up becoming our new set for the video. Since it was on the bigger side we had more film space, but ended up thinking that the play ground was the funniest place to be. We knew playing on the slides and swings would give us some funnier clips for our video. The weather was mostly against us in the beginning of us recording. We thought it would only be cloudy for an hour or so, but it ended up raining a few times also which prolonged everything further. This wasn't on the forecast so we were definitely surprised and caught off guard. We had to find shelter a few times but we knew we couldn't give up on filming today if we wanted a nice video. Especially because we knew it was the only time we would all be together before the due date. When actually filming I decided to record all the scenes on my phone. Tiana's phone was chosen because it had the best quality camera out of all 4 of us. For most scenes I even was the camera man and got most of the clips. The clips with all four of us though were more creative because we had no one else to film us. We would either use one of our bags or belongings to secure the phone, or in some instances a tree was used to help get higher angles.
