Planning Storyboard For My Croc Commercial

 First Scene- In this scene I will look at two balls (a soccer ball and a football). I want to play but I have on the wrong shoes. Because I cannot play in flip flops I am upset.

Second Scene-  As I stand and look at the balls I can play with in this scene someone enters. They come on to the grass and picks up the football. They begin to play and I just watch them.

Third Scene- I notice the shoes the person has on in this scene and I see they have breathable holes in them. They seem to be quite comfortable while they play with the football. I ask them what shoes they are and they say "Crocs". 

Fourth Scene- I am upset that I cant play with the shoes I have on. The person sees me looking sad and finds a solution. I said I wish I had a pair and they told me they had one.They spin around and present to me a box of crocs.

Fifth Scene- I tell them thank you and they say I am welcome. I put the crocs on and I am so happy. I express that I am glad I can now play with them. I am excited to play in my new Crocs.

Sixth Scene- The screen will go black and show the hashtag #sharethelove. The Crocs commercials have many commercials and slogans, but I feel this one was fitting for my commercial. The screen will then fade out after showing the hashtag.

Editing for my Crocs Commercial

 The editing process of my commercial was not too difficult. The total time it took to edit was about 30 minutes. I used iMovie to edit on my laptop and I begun my importing my footage onto my laptop. I organized the clips in the order I wanted the commercial to flow. I did not use all the clips I wanted to make sure I remained in the time limit. I watched all the footage back as I was editing to find the perfect clips to use for each part. For the parts of the commercial I did not want to use I cut the clip and merged the other pieces together. During the editing process I noticed that the time limit wasn't going over too much and I was on the right track. I wanted to add a little bit of calming music to the background of my video. In many Croc commercials there is a calm background music and I wanted to add that element to my commercial. Planning Title Blog

  The title of a film is very essential for various reasons.  After research  on various websites about titles and title sequences we were able to begin the process of deciding on a name. We kept in mind the information absorbed from those websites and integrated  that information into our final decision. The title of a film sets the mood for the film, gives overview, and allows the audience to create assumptions for the content.  We spent some time thinking about a movie tile that fits the content of our film. As of right now the title for our film is "The Workplace". We decided this title for our film based on a comedy series named "The Office". The comedy style in our film is very similar of "The Office". As stated before in previous blogs the movie is inspired from that show. Production

 Our team has not agreed on the exact days we plan to film but we have decided on a time period to film. Since we all have school going on and our lives to attend to after, it is hard to choose a day. We are sorting our schedules to come up with a good day to film. Also, we would need to film on a day with favorable weather because half of our filming will be taking place outside. As for location, we have a park set to film at but since we haven't picked a filming day. We also have an office building we are supposed to film at , however I am not 100% sure about the stability. We found a park that has a playground, a field, and other areas need to film. We decided to use iMovie, an editing app made by Apple, to edit our film. I am very experienced with using this app, it makes editing an easier job.
